The 3rd Annual St. Louis International Salsa Congress / 1st St. Louis Bachata Festival will showcase your team October 4-6, 2012. We want you on our stage!!!
There are only 20 slots per night for performance. Our registration team will be choosing on a first come basis and ability. Please submit your team registration in early so that you will be part of the selection.

Please make sure to read all instructions and details regarding registration. We look forward to hearing from your and seeing your team perform at the congress!!

Dance Team Directors:
We want your team’s experience performing at the congress / festival to be one of the best, so PLEASE help us make that happen for you by following a few basic guidelines.
The Directors of each team is responsible for contacting Cheryl Smith at for any information on their teams. Team members should not contact the organizer unless an emergency is at hand. All questions or inquiries should come from the team’s director.
Directors need to make sure the following documents and items are handled:
- Team Registration turned in
- Signed consent forms
- -Youtube / performance video link
- Team payments
- Team Bio

Registration Deadlines and Performance Specifications
All dance teams chosen need to register by August 1, 2012.
NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
If we have not received your team’s completed registration by this date, we will assume your team has decided not to perform.
We will accepted payment at the door for teams members however we encourage you to pay by or before registration expiration date. Prices will go up at the door.
Please respect the performance time limits! 5 Minute Max for all Dance teams / 3 minute max for Couples .
Registration must include a video or video link of your recent performance to be sent via the registration form below or email by July 1, 2012
to performer@stlsalsacongress. You will know if your team was chosen by July 15, 2012.
All dance teams selected must be available to perform on any night of the congress weekend from Friday October 5, 2012 – Saturday October 6, 2012. Not trying to be rude, but this is not a choice for teams. Again both night will be powerful presentations so no one will miss your showcase.
Bring at least two (2) CDs with ONLY the music of your performance on the CD.
Note: When mixing the performance music on your CDs, Be sure to mix it on different brands of CDs. Some equipment do not read all the brands of CDs out in the market today. Please bring these CDs to your scheduled tech rehearsal. Final performance schedules and rehearsal times will be determined about two weeks before the Congress.

Tech Rehearsal
You must rehearse your number on stage with your full team at your designated Tech Rehearsal. The rehearsal time will be given to you ahead of time. Once it is confirmed, it is mandatory that you show up to the rehearsal or you will not perform.
Costumes
Please remember that your costumes, performances and your music should be appropriate for family entertainment. Young performers will be in attendance at this event.

Hotel Reservations

We encourage your team to stay with us right in the heart of Downtown Room rate is only $95 per night and should be booked directly through the St. Louis Congress website. If calling the hotel, please ask for the St. Louis Congress Special Rate! Don’t wait too long, the rooms will go very fast. You can also reserve rooms on the Hotel Reservation page.

Dancers’ Pass Information
We will provide a discounted Congress Pass for members of our Selected Dance Teams. Dance teams selected and ONLY the dancers actually performing at the St. Louis International Salsa Congress will be eligible for access to the discount rate. All performers must register to participate in the STLISC. The $100 registration fee will entitle the performer to a full congress pass. And is available for the performance discount until August 1, 2012 Team Director’s will receive complimentary pass and a discount code for their team for payment registration.
Please submit all Registration forms by August 1, 2012 of approval of your participation. Participant registration forms not received by the deadline may result in your participation slot being reassigned to another person or group. Any deviation from this agreement will result in the revocation of Almas Del Ritmo (ADR) Dance Company LLC’s offer of acceptance to perform. In the event you do not perform ADR reserves the right to rescind any and all offers or agreements of compensation, accommodation and event access extended on your behalf.

This pass will entitle each team member to an all access pass to all of the evening events for Friday and Saturday as well as all the workshops held on Friday and Saturday.
*Team Members not performing are not entitled to this Special Price and will be treated as attendees.
Please make sure that all team members will be able to attend the event. Passes are not refundable or transferable and can’t be credited for the following year.
Again Teams MUST BE registered and all paperwork in By August 1, 2012.
